Scripture first
Every song begins by listening carefully to the Bible reading and the truth it places before us. The music serves the Scripture; it does not compete with it.

One reading. One reflection. One song.
A companion
for the everyday.
Lamp & Song brings together guidance and response: Scripture lights the way; song helps the truth remain with us.
The music follows a three-year Bible-reading journey. Each companion song responds to the central truth of its reading, giving its prayer, promise or challenge a voice beyond the page.

Warm. Honest.
Grounded in the Word.
Reflection for real life
The songs make room for honest faith in ordinary days: questions, gratitude, waiting, repentance, courage, joy and hope held before God.
Truth we can carry
A melody can help a line of truth remain with us after the reading ends, giving prayer and reflection a voice throughout the day.
Care behind every song
Made with purpose.
Reviewed with care.
Chrystopher James leads the writing, theology, musical direction, review and final release decisions. Modern tools may support demo and arrangement exploration, while the responsibility and creative direction remain human-led.
Ask about Lamp & Song01Listen to the passage
The reading sets the subject, emotional tone and theological centre. The song grows from what the text is genuinely saying.
02Shape the companion song
Lyrics, melody and arrangement are developed to help the central truth remain memorable without turning Scripture into a slogan.
03Review with care
The theology, pastoral tone, originality and musical purpose are reviewed before any song is approved for release.
04Gather the wider journey
Companion songs are brought together in albums that retain variety while following the order and movement of the Bible-reading plan.
